MAKING RESERVATIONS

Individuals making their own HOTEL reservations should call 1-888-416-4075. Please mention the group name of Sunstone when making reservations.

Guests must book hotel rooms by the Monday, June 25, 2012 cut off date.

At the cut-off date, Hotel will release the unreserved rooms for general sale.  Any reservations received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space or rate available basis.

Visit http://www.universityguesthouse.com/University-Guest-House for more information.

We are very sorry that we are unable to offer dorm room accommodations to Sunstone attendees. The University of Utah has no mechanism to make this type of lodging available to the public, and the financial and logistical aspects of doing it ourselves proved too burdensome for the Sunstone staff.

Lodging at SLC Marriott University Park

A block of rooms is also available at the SLC Marriott University Park (480 Wakara Way). Rates are $99 a night plus tax for all rooms. Guests must book before Wednesday 11 July 2012 to receive the preferred rate in the Sunstone block.

To make reservations, call the Marriott University Park directly at 801.581.1000 or 800.228.9290 or visit http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/slcup-salt-lake-city-marriott-university-park/. I just happen to be in LA that day for business. Is there a way I could attend Friday night and maybe be done in time to see the film Sat, which I can pay at the door. But is there a way to pay just for the Fri. Night session?

    Hi Chuck,

Glad to hear you’ll be able to attend Friday night!

If you want to register in advance just for Friday, it’s $8 and you can use the film ticket link to pay–just put a note in the comments box with your name and indicate you’re buying a ticket for Friday night’s opening session and we’ll take care of the rest.

    Mary Ellen,

I am coming as a day trip and will only be able to make the 3 middle sessions on Saturday. Do you offer any pro-rating for coming just one day?

    Hi Tania,

Yay! I’m so glad you can make it for part of the symposium! I’ll be happy to prorate registration for the sessions you’re able to attend. Find me at the registration desk and we’ll work out the details.

Mary Ellen, I look forward to a less controversial symposium at the U this year. I hope to attend all 3 days but since I run a 1-person business cannot be sure I will have the time. Can I register each day when I get there and is there a greater cost than $30/day? Thanks

And thank you again for the strong statement you put out on on the anti-Semetic rant.

For the Renee Shaw workshop on July 25th, can we register at the door if we missed the pre-registration??
